Well, it's been a good innings...

...but it's time to say goodbye to Connected Life. I've got various reasons; the main one being that 7 years is O.A.P territory in web site terms, and most of the things I originally set this site up for (communicating, photo sharing, organising things) have since been duplicated by Facebook et al.

I think now is a good point to stop and do something else with this place, before it becomes just another one of those sad old bits of net debris that hasn't been updated in 12 months.

All the site content has been safely archived, so if there's anything anyone would like (photos, articles etc) just drop me an email. Some of the things we wrote still make me laugh out loud; some make me very nostalgic, and some even bring a tear or two.

But it is definitely time to move on and refresh things, so... stay tuned, folks.
